Chandler rebates available for converting to desert landscaping

Chandler Arizona's "Go Green - Save Blue!" program rewards city residents with rebates for converting grass to a low water use Xeriscape. Resident Rick Scott's yard serves as a conservation success story with an average monthly savings of 28,000 gallons of water. Go Green - Save Blue is one part of Chandler's efforts at water conservation; the city sponsors classes that show residents how to add green features to their home including solar systems and how to keep usable materials out of landfills by reusing and recycling.
